L is for Lampwork


Lampwork is the term used to describe the process by which the glass beads are made.  I've included a video for today's post as it really is the easiest way to show you.

This is one of the Trollbeads official videos and for the collectors amongst you it's not one I've seen before as it shows some of the small and beautiful uniques being made!


I have to say that wasn't quite how I made them when I had a go myself last year... mind you it was my first time!

      I find it totally absorbing to watch glass beads being made, the good glass artists are really good to watch, they make it seem so easy...
