Blooming Sunflowers from my trip down South earlier this month |
In the last year I've collected some of my long term wishlist beads (and ones I thought I'd never have), I've had the pleasure of live blogging a Fashion Show with a lovely group of bloggers, met and worked with some amazing jewellery makers & retailers, completed the AtoZ challenge, pimped my bead box, attended my first blogger meet, finally stopped buying jewellery long enough to replace my boilers (yippee and boo all at the same time) and worked to showcase some great new brands whose jewellery just happened to fall into my shopping trolley... oh yeah and in case you were snoozing yesterday, I also bought a bus!
Sunset from the Bus |
As you're reading this, I've actually headed off to experience another sunset on the bus, complete with my bus bracelet from yesterday and the number of the breakdown firm!
So raise a glass, a mug or a bottle of water and see you on the other side for the start of Year 3!
What are you most pleased about from the last 12 months,
stop by a while, share a tale or two and spread some joy around!
Congratulations on TWO YEARS ! ! !
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the bus. How exciting. What a wonderful new adventure in life. Eventually will you give up your not-on-wheels place and make the bus your home?
Thanks Liz, I was a bit shocked myself to realise the significance of this month!
DeleteThanks, just got back from a long weekend in her, absolutely wonderful way to have adventures :D
No plans to have a permanent nomadic lifestyle, this one's is too wee for a permanent live in, but I do love the idea of some longer term travelling in her, we just need to save the pennies for some more work for her to make her a bit more travel proof in the long run. Although this trip was done without the aid of the breakdown guys so that was a welcome relief! :)
I must remember to take bug spray though as I've been eaten alive this weekend!

Happy Second Birthday! :)
ReplyDeleteOne of the things that I'm pleased about the last twelve months was that I quit my job to be with my kids. It was a few years in the making, and tough to leave people that I really enjoyed working with, but it's been so fun being with my kids, even if they drive me bonkers sometimes.
On the bead front, it was great getting two of my dream beads (clover and viking knot). My wish list isn't getting much smaller, but at least I feel the ones on there have been thoroughly thought out, unlike my first year of collecting.
Thanks Tracy!
DeleteYay for you on the job front, sounds like a big but worthwhile decision :)
I know what you mean about more considered buying, I'm definitely heading more that way now, my 1st year seems quite random by comparison too!
